It’s not eye catching enough.. I tried to show it to my dog, and she wanted nothing to do with it. How are we going to sell our products if dogs aren’t even interested?
(no llama la atencion suficiente. Se lo enseñé a mi perra y ella no le hizo caso. Cómo vamos a vender nuestros productos sí ni siquiera los perros se interesan?)
Phone conversation with an acquaintance of my boss. They wanted to host a server with all of the music they’d copied from CDs, pirated or downloaded from iTunes.
Me: ”Legally, I need to sway you from starting a website that charges people to download all of the music you’ve copied off of your CDs.”
Client: ”What? Why? There’s all kinds of places you can get music for free. iTunes charges. I’m like iTunes!”
Me: ”No, iTunes has paid for licensing to distribute the music and make a profit off it.”
Client: ”Whatever, I’ll just get one of those… Now, on to the design. I want it to look exactly like iTunes so people think they are using them. Can we even get a web address that’s similar? Something like uTunes or iMusic.”
Me: ”You know Steve Jobs enjoys suing people, right?”
Client: ”Who?”
Conversación telefónica con un conocido de mi jefe. Ellos querían manejar un servidor con toda la música que habían copiado de CDs, pirateado o descargado de Itunes.
Yo: Legalmente, tengo que hacerte cambiar de opinión sobre la idea de comenzar una pagina que cobra a la gente por descargar música que tu has copiado de cds.
Cliente: Qué? Por qué? Hay muchos lugares donde puedes bajar música gratis. Itunes cobra. Yo soy como Itunes.
Yo: No, Itunes ha pagado por licencias para distribuir esa música y obtener ganancias.
Cliente: Lo que sea, yo conseguiré una de esas.... Ahora, sobre el diseño. Quiere que se vea exactamente igual a Itunes para que la gente piense que lo estan usando. Podríamos conseguir una dirección parecida? algo como Utunes o Imusic?
Yo: Sabes que Steve Jobs disfruta demandando gente?
Cliente: Quién?
One pixel is still too big. Please make it smaller. ASAP.
(Un pixel es aun muy grande, por favor hazlo mas pequeño. ASAP)
Please remove the images of black people as all of our clients are white.
(Por favor remueva todas las fotos de personas negras, debido a que todos nuestros clientes son blancos.)
