Las reglas del ser humano

  1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it’s yours to keep for the entire period.                    (Recibirás un cuerpo. Podrás quererlo u odiarlo, pero te quedarás con el por el periodo completo)

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, “life.” (Aprenderás lecciones. Estas inscrito en una escuela informal de tiempo completo llamada: "vida")

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately “work.” (No hay errores, solo lecciones. Crecer es un proceso de prueba, error y experimentación. Los experimentos "fallidos" son igual de necesarios para el proceso como los experimentos que llegaron a "funcionar")

4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson. (Las lecciones serán repetidas hasta que se aprendan. Una lección sera presentada en varias formas hasta que te la aprendas. Cuando lo hagas, podrás pasar a la siguiente lección.) 

5. Learning lessons does not end. There’s no part of life that doesn’t contain its lessons. If you’re alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned. (Aprender lecciones nunca termina. No hay ninguna parte de la vida que no tenga lecciones. Si estas vivo significa que aun hay lecciones que aprender)

6. “There” is no better a place than “here.” When your “there” has become a “here”, you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here.” ("Allá"  nunca es mejor lugar que "aquí". Cuando tu "Allá" se convierta en tu "aquí", simplemente aparecerá otro "Allá" que se verá mejor que tu "aquí" de nuevo)

7. Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. (Las demás personas solamente son reflejos de ti. No puedes amar u odiar algo acerca de otra persona sin que eso refleje algo que amas u odias acerca de ti mismo)

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours. (Lo que hagas con tu vida es cosa tuya. Tienes todas las herramientas y recursos que necesitas, lo que hagas con ellas es tu problema. La elección es tuya)

9. Your answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust. (Tus respuestas yacen dentro de ti. Las respuestas a las preguntas de la vida están dentro de ti. Todo lo que necesitas es mirar, escuchar y confiar)

10. You will forget all this. (Olvidarás todo esto)
